This golf cart motor brake helps slow down your cart when the accelerator pedal is released. Will help your brake shoes life as they will not have to work as hard.
Fits the Following Cart(s): electric EZGO RXV Danaher motor controller golf carts. Replaces EZGO RXV motor brake
COIL UPGRADE: Poured composite (NOT PLASTIC). Dissipates heat to keep the brake cool – Handles higher temperatures without pre-mature breakdown
Mechanics tool set required for install. Note: it is necessary to center up the replacement of EZGO RXV golf cart motor brake unit, by energizing it with 25+ volts, when installing.
Typically installs within 30-60 minutes. Mounting bolts are NOT included.
REMINDER: This motor brake's pad spacer is made of aluminum, please don't tighten it too hard or else its shape would change, which caused the brake pad gap to be too small, and caused drag brakes. Contact us if you have any question of the item.
